Qingdao First Lido (in simplified Chinese ????????) is the largest lido in Qingdao. Bring the biggest sea water bath facility in Qingdao, Qingdao First Lido is located in the city of Ocean Shores. Over there, the Lido is surrounded by mountains, verdant trees, as well as other beautiful elements. The modern high-rise building of villas and traditional combination of very beautiful scenery gives a very relaxing feeling for those who visit the Lido.

Inside the Lido, the water is quite still, and the land is sandy, which gives very perfect conditions for establishing a Lido. The First Lido of Qingdao was founded in 1901. However, at that time, the entire layout was quite poor. Despite a number of expansions after the liberation of the country, the outlook has not been given a big change.

Luckily, in March 1984, under the approval of the State Council of the Town Planning of Qingdao, the city was allowed to put the rebuilding of the beach as the most important part of the city. Since then, the city’s government organized various departments and conducted the redevelopment of the Lido. In March 9, 1984, the project started and it was quickly finished in June 26 the same year. In just 108 days, a new style of Qingdao First Lido presents to the public. It is really very great and it obviously shows the power of Chinese people.

After the reconstruction of the first lido, there are 63 new single buildings, occupying a total of more than 19.9 thousand square meters of area. Together with the original construction area which has more than 400 square meters, the new one has a total construction area of 20,400 square meters. At the same time, a lot of supporting projects were also completed, including construction of roads from urban areas to this Lido, as well as some plantations. Sculptures were also constructed to add elegant feelings to the Lido.

Actually, when you come to this place, you would be able to become very relaxed because the natural scenery would be great. Moreover, you would be able to enjoy the water bath, which gives you a very relaxing body.
