Dustless Pure Stupa (in simplified Chinese???????) was built in 1044 and it was renovated during the sixth year of Qing Chongde Period. Since there were 1548 “Relics” stored in the pagoda, it was regarded as “dustless” and “pure”. Actually, the “Relics” stored inside are not those clay pots. The “Relics” here refer to the crystals remained from the burning of the dead body. In Chinese people’s sense, the more the crystals the dead body left, the purer and the better the person it. Therefore, with 1548 “Relics”, this Stupa is regarded as very pure.

The Stupa is located in Shenyang City’s north-west part in the Bay Street, which is located in 45 Tower Lane in Huanggu District. This Stupa is very magnificent and it has a long history.

If you believe in Buddhism, you should never miss this Stupa when you visit Shenyang because it is really rare to have a stupa having thousands of “relics” stored. If you believe that these “relics” are symbols of pureness and a kind of great thing, you should try to visit this stupa and worship these things. On the other hand, if you are Christians, you could also try to visit this Stupa to know more about some other religions. In China, Buddhism can be regarded as the biggest religion and there are a lot of traditions which are hard to explain or describe through the use of words. Therefore, in order to know more about Buddhism, the best way is to experience. If you could try to visit this Stupa, you would surely know more.

Of course, when visiting the Stupa, you should respect the religion no matter you believe it or not. You should not do something which is not respecting Buddhism, such as saying loudly that Buddhism is something not real.

Also, you might not be allowed to take photos on the “relics” in a certain area. Therefore, if you see signs showing that you are not allowed to do so, you should not break the rule.
