?? (f?ngshu?) “wind and water” thinking is Chinas traditional theory and practice how to use space. It is based on ancient Taoist philosophy of universal life energy and connection between humans and outer world.
Fengshui supposes that small invisible particles ? qi exist, penetrating everywhere on earth like solar radiation. This energy flow is not determined by humans, time or place limits and called Heaven Fortune. There are positive and negative energy, with none of them to be avoided completely. But some methods can be exploited to eliminate a harmful stream and reinforce the positive one. One of the most famous rules to reduce negativity is to avoid doing anything: no act – no counteract, as negative energy will have nothing to interrelate with. Positive energy is changing person`s well-being and happiness. Energy imbalance can be modified by an individual himself. But in case there is not enough inner strength for such transformations, few methods may be employed – spiritual(praying), physical (acupuncture), or other people`s energy borrowing (emotional vampirism). For some people personification of energy in the form of amulets, icons, beads or similar is vital to inspire their inner ego.

The Shenyang Imperial Palace is the only second one existing royal residence in China after the Forbidden City in Beijing.
The site was under build over few decades since 1625 to appease different tastes, hustle and bustle of its dwellers. The Palace housed the first three emperors of Qing Dynasty of whom two found the last resting place not far from its walls.
The Palace is a twelfth size replica of the Beijing`s Forbidden city but embodies unique mix of few Asian cultures. Manchu nomadic chord is the main theme in its building tune.
